What I built.
- 01
Made the website much faster, taking Google PageSpeed scores from around 40 to 90+ on key pages.
- 02
Improved visibility on Google, so course pages are easier to find.
- 03
Built combo course bundles, so learners can buy related courses together at a discount.
- 04
Redesigned the course details, cart, cart pop-up and labs pages to make buying simpler.
- 05
Added a live transcript that follows along with course videos, and videos that resume where the learner stopped.
- 06
Redesigned the welcome and password emails, fixed bugs in the learning platform, and kept dependencies secure and up to date.
- 01
Cut JavaScript payloads with bundle analysis, code-splitting and next/dynamic for heavy below-the-fold components.
- 02
Improved LCP, CLS and TBT with next/image and sharp, explicit dimensions, font loading and deferred third-party scripts, choosing SSG, ISR or SSR per page.
- 03
Server-rendered meta tags, Open Graph and JSON-LD for courses, breadcrumbs and FAQs, plus sitemap, canonical and redirect fixes.
- 04
The data model, APIs and Stripe checkout pricing for course bundles, with enrolment across every included course.
- 05
A Video.js transcript panel synced to timeupdate and VTT cues with click-to-seek, and throttled playback-position saving with a local fallback.
- 06
Responsive, table-based Handlebars email templates sent through SendGrid; dependency upgrades across the website, LMS and backend, with regression testing.
